Fat Joe's J.O.S.E. celebrates 10 years

Released on December 4th, 2001; J.O.S.E. was Fat Joe's 4th studio album that took Joe from another Bronx rapper to an international star. The album's hit single, What's Luv?, was a top 10 single and was one of the most popular songs of 2002.

Nov 10, 2011 would have been the 40th birthday of Bronx native, Big Punisher. Still loved & respected by many, he was a pioneer as Capital Punishment became the first album by a solo Latino rapper to go platinum,peaking at #5 on the Billboard 200.

Pun's lyrics are notable for technical efficiency, having minimal pauses to take a breath, heavy use of alliteration as well as internal and multi-syllabic rhyming schemes.

It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since every hip hop head was quoting at least 1 line from the debut solo album from Jadakiss. Released on August 7, 2001; Kiss The Game Goodbye featured production from an all star list of producers which had Jadakiss spitting fire and cemented his rightful place on many people's list of the dopest MC's in the game.

psychology digs in the arcive's and re-releases his tribute to 1/3 of the LOX, Jadakiss.

The Diamond In The Rough: The Wu-Tang Clan Session

On July 26th, the boys from Shaolin return with their latest compilation album, Legendary Weapons. It will feature performances by several Wu-Tang members and affiliates along with various special guests. Production is NOT handled by RZA. This may be the reason this is considered a compilation album and not an official Wu-Tang Clan studio album. Regardless, the Wu-Tang faithful will be snatching this album up..

psychology blows the dust off some classic Wu-Tang vinyl and puts together a mix that is already considered a classic in its own right.. The Diamond In The Rough: The Wu-Tang Clan Session drops tonight (July 21) on the airwaves of K103 Radio at midnight.
