RIP Nate Dogg



2 years have passed since the death of Nate Dogg.

Born in Mississippi, Nate started singing in Church where his father was a Pastor. At the age of 16 he dropped out of high school in Long Beach and left home to join the United States Marine Corps, serving for three years. Making his debut on Dr. Dre's, The Chronic. Nate Dogg would release a few studio albums, but his most recognized body of work would be the hooks he added to numerous hits, including 4 grammy nominated songs. There are plans to release his final studio album, Nate Dogg: It’s A Wonderful Life this year. The album will feature unreleased material from Nate as well as appearences from Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z.

RIP Nate Dogg



Today (March 15) marks the 1 year anniversary of the passing of one of Hip Hop's most distinguishable voices; Nate Dogg. His voice can be heard on many West Coast classics including Regulate.

He began singing as a child in the New Hope Baptist Church in Long Beach and Life Line Baptist Church in Clarksdale, Mississippi where his father Daniel Lee Hale was pastor. He Made his Debut on Dr. Dre's The Chronic and would go on to sign with Death Row. Nate Dogg would release a few studio albums, but his most recognized body of work would be the hooks he added to numerous hits, including 4 grammy nominated songs.

RIP Nate Dogg (August 19, 1969 – March 15, 2011)



Nathaniel Dwayne Hale aka Nate Dogg died on March 15, 2011 in Long Beach, California due to unconfirmed health problems.

Nate, Snoop Dogg and Warren G, who all belonged to the Rollin 20 Crips gang formed a rap trio called 213, which recorded its first demo in the back of the famed V.I.P record store in Long Beach. The demo was later heard by Dr. Dre at a house party, who was impressed with Nate's soulful voice.

Nate Dogg's voice then beacme the go to voice for hooks & chorus' like classics Regulate & Next Episode along with many other classics.
