Nike SB P-Rod 5 Mid Black/Red

As skaters move away from the bulky skate shoe to sleeker models, companys need to adjust. Nike & P-Rod trim the fat; resulting in the P-Rod 5



The 5 Mid adds a bit more beef but still stays stealth. The black/red colorway always works, as seen here..



I'd switch the laces for red or white and then these would be on my feet on the regular..

Love & Guts: Eyes Wide Open

If your in NYC this weekend, make sure you check out Love & Guts: Eyes Wide Open. Presented by Oakley, Juxtapoz and Thrasher; Love & Guts is an art ahow themed around the skateboard community & some of the legends that have passed away.



Love & Guts will include work from Chad Muska, Armando Roura, Don Pendelton, Giovanni Reda, Dennis McNett and Ivory & Shelter Serra along with the art of the art of skating legends Lance Mountain, Pat Ngoho, Steve Caballero and Steve Olson.









The show takes place at Red Bull Space (40 Thompson Street).

Exclusive to Brazil, the Nike Dirty Money collection features a Blazer Hi and Dunk Mid that were designed by Nike SB Brazil team rider Fabio Cristiano. The shoes are a tribute to the release of the skate film, Dirty Money.

After battling through traffic & the worst route ever provided by Google Maps; which brough me not only to the wrong postal code, but also to the wrong address; I made it to a rainy Red Bull Payday which transormed from an outdoor jam into a small gathering inside an unused retail store.
Tricks were banged out, Axis Cash was paid & beats were dropped (by yours truly).

Shoot To Thrill Montreal with psychology

Shoot To Thrill is a film & photo contest, organized by Red Bull. Participants had 72 hours to shoot, edit & upload a 3-5 minute clip focused on skateboarding & skate culture. The finalists have been chosen & its now down to the 10 final teams to battle it out for the title of Shoot To Thrill 2008 champion & a cool $8000.
The Montreal premier takes place this weekend, at Cabaret Juste Pour Rire, with psychology providing the musical backdrop for the night. As the nights gets colder, Red Bull & psychology provide some heat with the Montreal premiere of Shoot To Thrill 2008
