Louis Vuitton FIFA 2010 World Cup Trophy Case

With the World Cup starting on June 11th, FIFA commishined Louis Vuitton to create the official travel case for the coveted trophy of the 2010 tournament.



Handmade by a single master craftsman in Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop near Paris, which opened in 1859, the case is made of solid 18-carat gold with a base of semi-precious malachite. Covered in Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas, the travel case is fitted with the company’s signature brass lock and corners, and has a dark brown lining that complements the Trophy’s rich gold.





The case opens at the front and at the top to allow the Trophy to be removed easily when, at the final on 11th July in Johannesburg.

Former Art Director of Helmut Lang Studios, now head of Wong Wong, Stephen Wong, has created an exclusive World Cup 2010 collection for Happy Socks.

Eight countries are represented in this collection; including Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, South Africa.

T.I.T.S. World Cup Tees

One of my favorite T-shirt brands, Two in the Shirt (aka T.I.T.S.)has released a collection of T-shirts for the upcoming World Cup. Too bad Canada sucks at soccer. It would have been nice to get a Canadian tee or at the very least the host country tee. But other than those 2 disapointments (Well, one disapointment. Canada not being in the World Cup isn't T.I.T.S fault), the collection is cool.
