Beastie Boys reveal release date for Hot Sauce Committee Part 2

The Beastie Boys have picked May 3rd as the release date for their first non-instrumental full length album in 7 years, Hot Sauce Committee Part 2.

Originally slated for release in 2009, the album was pushed back due to the treatment for a cancerous tumor in Adam Yauch's salivary gland. Yauch continues treatment and looks forward to being cancer free soon.

Adam Yauch diagnosed with Cancer

Today, Beastie Boy, Adam Yauch, anounced that he has cancer of a salivary gland; therefore postponing their upcoming tour and album release. This includes the cancellation of their appearance at Montreal's Osheaga festival.
