On April 19, 2010; the Hip Hop community lost one of it's most influential MC's. Keith Elam, better known as Guru, passed away due to complications from Multiple Myeloma.
Two years later, we still remember the legacy that Guru left with his body of work. His classics with DJ Premier as Gang Starr, along with his collaborations with Jazz musicians in his Jazzmatazz series , will always be remembered and cherished. His legacy will live on forever.

Gurus lyrics were amazing.. He was truly a Hip Hop Idol of mine growing up.. even though punk rock influenced and shaped my life; i'll always have a spot for Gangstarr
