December 25th, 2011 was the 5th anniversary of the passing of the Godfather of Soul and arguably the most important forefather to Hip Hop. Without James Brown we wouldn't have funk, R&B, Hip Hop..
Leaving a legacy that can never be repeated, James Brown died on Christmas Day, 2006 from congestive heart failure resulting from complications of pneumonia.
