Ludacris: Back Again For The First Time, 10 Year anniversary

It seems not to long ago, when I was dropping the record needle on an unknown artist's first major label single, What's Your Fantasy. I'm not sure what caught my ear first. Was it the production of Bangladesh? Was it the explicit lyrics? Or was it the flow of an Atlanta MC, who didn't sound like any Southern MC I had heard before? To be honest, it may have been a combination of all these things, but essentially it was the catalyst that started my appreciation for Christopher Brian Bridges, aka Ludacris.

On october 17, 2000. Ludacris dropped his Def Jam debut, Back For The First Time. It featured production from Bangladesh, Timbaland, The Neptunes, etc. The album reached as high as #4 on the U.S. Billboard 200, and was a major success. It put Ludacris on the map, and he is one of Hip Hop's most resepcted MCs & Entertainers.

Tonight (October 21), psychology pays tribute to Ludacris with, The Diamond In The Rough: The Ludacris Session. A fan favorite, DITR: The Ludacris Session can be heard at midnight on K103 radio (103.7 FM)
