STPL x Oakley

Oakley teamed up with the legendary Jeff Staple for his vision of Oakley during the past 35 years. The result was 6 distinct pieces, each reflecting a sport and how Oakley changed the game in each of those sports.

First up is the eyeshade. This piece is Jeff's tribute to tennis.

First released in 1984, the eyeshade is the first pair of glasses made by Oakley.

The entire frame is tennis ball fuzz which is electro-statically adhered to the plastic.

150 pcs made for the whole world—top-tier Oakley accounts only

Next up is the revolutionary Radar. Released in 2007, the radar is still a key piece for athletes in various sports including golf (as seen here with Jeff's tribute), cycling, and many other traditional sports.

Golf inspired all over graphic design and colors. The graphic is a hydrographic film print.

Yellow lens provides high contrast that increases visual acuity in extremely flat to low light conditions

The Radar will be available in most Oakley flagship stores.

2 more pieces will drop in August; and the final 2 in September. If you are in NYC, you can get a sneak peek at the entire collection at the Oakley x STPL launch event taking place at Reed Space. Just Blaze will be spinning tunes.
