April 22, 1989 was a historic day in Hip Hop history as it was the release date of the sophmore album by DJ Premier & Guru, better known as Gang Starr, entitled No More Mr. Nice Guy. Gang Starr would go on to release 5 more classic albums that would cement Gang Starr as one of Hip Hop's most profound groups with the lyrical sharpness of Guru & the Jazz enfused production of DJ Premier.
