This month (March 2009) marks the 20th anniversary of the release of De La Soul's debut album, 3 Feet High & Rising.
This album has been described of one of the most influencial albums not only in hip hop, but music in general. The heavy use of sampling, which was still a new art form at the time, and clever skits changed the way albums were produced.
3 Feet High & Rising is one of psychology's favorite albums & couldn't let this album celebrate 20 years without paying respect to it & De La Soul.
Tonight (March 26), psychology drops The Diamond In The Rough: The De La Soul Session on K103 radio at midnight.
